What's behind the growth
Revolut has spent heavily on its new banking licence, a campaign it ran in two bursts, and its Manchester City partnership.
It received full UK banking authorisation in March 2026 after a 20-month mobilisation, with UK CEO Francesca Carlesi calling it "a defining moment in our journey." Weeks later, it launched "Welcome to My Bank", swapping Graham Norton's studio set for a saddle to poke fun at stuffy banking ads and ask "what is a bank?".
Chief Marketing and Growth Officer Antoine Le Nel said: "Graham is the perfect bridge. He's a household name who has always done things his own way.
He represents exactly what Revolut stands for: a bank that is sophisticated and secure and straight-up, never hiding behind jargon." The campaign returned in June 2026 with a second burst fronted by Erling Haaland, built on Revolut's Manchester City partnership, showing him checking his savings interest mid-cryotherapy session on a billboard at Printworks Manchester.
That partnership expanded in February 2026, when Revolut became back-of-shirt partner for both the men's and women's Man City teams.
It also launched a market-leading 5% boosted savings rate for new UK customers in June 2026, and that May announced plans to launch private banking for high-net-worth clients in the UK and parts of Europe, having originally targeted a summer 2026 rollout that has yet to materialise.
